What is plus+?

PLUS+ is a peer-led space for LGBTQIA2S+ folx to explore spirituality, heal from religious harm, and build authentic community rooted in mutual care, sacred questioning, and radical belonging. Whether you're deconstructing, rebuilding, or just trying to breathe—PLUS+ is a place for you.

We take our name from the “+” in LGBTQIA2S+ because identity is more than a label—it’s lived, evolving, and beautifully complex. The “+” holds space for those who don’t fit neatly into boxes, for those still becoming, and for those who resist being defined at all.

Who Is It For?

PLUS+ is for the full spectrum of the LGBTQIA2S+ community—every letter, every lived experience, and all the sacred spaces beyond the acronym.

We welcome:

  • Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, agender, and Two-Spirit folks

  • People who live in the “+”—nonbinary, pansexual, gender-expansive, fluid, questioning, or not yet labeled

  • Those who don’t see themselves in any acronym

  • Queer people of any or no faith background

  • Spiritual seekers, skeptics, and deconstructors

  • Those healing from religious trauma and reclaiming their faith on their own terms

  • Allies walking gently, listening deeply, and learning with humility

PLUS+ is for anyone who:

  • Has been told their queerness and their faith can’t coexist

  • Is rebuilding or reimagining their spiritual identity

  • Wants to connect with others outside of traditional religious spaces

  • Needs a safe, sacred space to just be
