Food has always been at the center of Christian community. Throughout the Gospels, Jesus gathered people around tables, shared meals with friends and strangers alike, and used food as a sign of God’s abundant love and grace. At Tulsa Wesley, we believe shared meals continue to be a powerful way to build relationships, practice hospitality, and create spaces where everyone belongs.

College students today face significant financial pressures, and many experience food insecurity at some point during their academic journey. Access to consistent, nutritious meals can have a direct impact on students’ health, well-being, and ability to thrive in the classroom.

Every Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Tulsa Wesley hosts a free lunch open to all students. Each meal includes a main entrée, vegetarian and gluten-free options, a fresh salad bar, fruits and vegetables, desserts, and plenty of opportunities for conversation and connection.

These meals are made possible through the generosity of local churches, Wesley alumni, community partners, and individual supporters who share our commitment to caring for students.

Just as Christ’s table is open to all, our lunch table is open to all. No matter who you are, where you come from, or whether you have ever stepped foot in a church, you are welcome here.
